i love italian girls style,i just arrived today from Rome and i saw several girls with the same look.Clasic rayban aviator sunglasses,jeans,paddington bag and most of them blonde.

the outfitts are cool--but thsoe peopel aren't italian.. the black girl is from la--she is a model. many of hte others are fashion editors, adn others invited to the shows from various western countries and asia... that is just showing well-dressed euro-esque people---not italians

from what iw as told by my italian buddies--- mstreet style in italy is intersting but nothign to revamp ur style for... he said al the gusy have super trendy hairdos, everyone is falshing mad labels... an miss sixty is huge. as a side note.. classic italian style for women is great. its lots of black, creams, oive greens, deep blues adn deep reds. they love to wear a couple bracelets and a beautiful ring. the women halways have their nails done. they like their hair long and straight.--in natural hair colors. in teh summer ther are tons of linens and light flowy fabrocs. the pants are free flowing from the body. they loved relaxed, washed silk.

oh the other things--they liek every thing real slimfitting i terms of superb tailoring(in jackets, dresses). the women firmly believe in lovely high heels--thin girly, extravagent, sexy.. its what i think of whne i try to describe classic european style. to me the mroe edgy/intrigueing stuff comes out f of northern europe(including paris)

same can be said about paris or london fashion week
the whole fashion world descends upon those cities for these fashion weeks
obviously the people hanging around these places are stylish, but they are not necessarily milanese, parisian,etc

also gia, your friend is pretty right on concerning italian fashion.

there is smtg so unique about italian fashion. certain trends you just cant find anywhere else.
