well, if he was a famous writer... but why would you have to know the playboy founder's famous quotes, right?
i guess they used it as a 'title' for her editorial? that would explain why he wasn't mentioned...

^yes, 'regrettably' that's the one and only quote of his that I know, and I only just learned it. you're probably right on about that being a title. for some reason that page didn't look to me like the beginning of her write up, it looks a bit like the last page of the table of contents, with a little preview picture and a few last credits... I'm so turned around.
