the styling is too try hard to be a
"little girl who isnt really as girly as she may seem"

Awww... she looks sweet. But its a little odd that she's on the cover of a magazine, I mean she's quite young isn't she?

She looks like she's trying way too hard, as would any 12-year-old. Milla is still my fave youngin' on a mag cover and she was like 13 or 14 and it was seventeen mag, not high fashion.

I don't like the third picture. It's so off. The first two pics are nice. It's great to see Elle on covers.

Anyone know who shot this?

In the second photo it says it was shot by Mason Poole.

The cover is a little too clearly copying the poster for Elle's new movie, Somewhere.

Mmm, might be interesting for once, I might temporarily lift my blockade on Jalouse to see if it's worth it!

"Picasso had his Pink period and his Blue period. I am in my blonde period right now."

Precious. This is why we don't give children the cover + main interview.

^^i believe they're just quoting hugh hefner. i don't think it's part of elle's interview...

OOPS  they put the quote right under Elle's picture and didn't source it... I need to review my famous Hefner quotes I guess?

well, if he was a famous writer... but why would you have to know the playboy founder's famous quotes, right?
i guess they used it as a 'title' for her editorial? that would explain why he wasn't mentioned...

^yes, 'regrettably' that's the one and only quote of his that I know, and I only just learned it.:innocent: you're probably right on about that being a title. for some reason that page didn't look to me like the beginning of her write up, it looks a bit like the last page of the table of contents, with a little preview picture and a few last credits... I'm so turned around.

but i agree with you, i doesn't quite look like a "beginning" page... i'm not very familiar with jalouse's layout:lol:
