Sometimes I'm really shocked about the magazines prices on eBay. And people are buying this magazines with big prices. I mean £24.99 and more.

OMG it is mad... 39 USD... oh but there are cheaper ones like for £5... I guess I am getting it;-)

The issue's out here in London already. If you buy it from WHSmith's you get one of the notebooks free, that came with the September issue. I'm guessing they had a lot left over somewhere!

It's straight up insane sometimes. Only the other day I saw Chloë Sevigny's A Magazine issue -- which in my country was on sale in stores for around 10 USD or so (I can't remember the exact price, but at any rate it wasn't much) -- on sale on eBay for a Buy It Now-price of £70! Out of this world.

Darn it! I just got from stating somewhere else how I disliked Helena Christensen, when she pulls out a fabulous cover and photo spread like this. The cover pose is a bit awkward, but other than that I'm really feeling this new Elle cover shoot, which in its simplicity seems to rely entirely on the strong presence of Helena. I think I might have to eat my words for the month.

I should imagine Elle UK will once again upstage its US counterpart this month.

Someone was curious how much photoshop they used during this shoot... if you go to elleuk.com they have a behind a scene video... her legs are mad...

Unfortunately the note books aren't available everywhere. They didn't come with the issues up North anyway.
After seeing the behind the scenes video it makes me admire the cover and editorial even more.

They're the note books that came free with the September issue. The Westwood/Galliano/Giles ones. There's a forth I'm sure but I've forgotten who it was by.. They just seem to have readded them into the WHSmith's copies, and the issue's bagged saying the notebook is free exclusively at WhSmith stores.
