Philipps on Franco on the set of F&G

Some of the nastiest disputes on the set came between Philipps and James Franco. At the time, Philipps said, they could barely even speak to each other: "It was legendary how much we hated each other."
To hear about the biggest dispute Philipps and Franco ever had, and to see where the characters might have gone had there been a season two, just read more.
  • Philipps said the worst things ever got with Franco was the day the two shot a scene from "We've Got Spirit." Her character was supposed to say something to Franco's and then whack him lightly on the shoulder. He responded by flinging her hand away, screaming "Don't you f*cking touch me!" and throwing her to the ground. Feig said he still has the copy of the film from that scene, which ended with Philipps lying on her back, alternately crying and laughing out of embarrassment, with her hands over her face: "It was like, flat on my back, wind knocked out of me assault by James Franco!" (She then pointed out that Franco recently sent her a very nice wedding present.)
 
????? That seems really weird!!!
From everything I read they had problems because James' was being too method at first, but that they liked each other!
James talks about it in his commentary.
God! I hope he's not like a crazy violent freak like he comes off there! Geez! He sounds like a freakin' psycho!! LOL!

It's really weird, I think he's a lot better looking in person than in pictures. I always hear people say that about celebrities but it's really true in this case. I've never seen any of his movies, but he was in one of my classes a few months ago and I was thinking "Gosh that guy should be famous! He looks like James Dean." Then I found out like 2 weeks before the class was over that he was famous and had already played James Dean.

Although when one of my friends met him he apparently wasn't attracted at all. He says he doesn't like pretty boys and so to him James was, " as ugly as Steve Buscemi"!! :shock::shock::hardhead:
Can you imagine my reaction to that? Lol! Not good! :p But everyone else was like, " WHAT??!!" when my friend said that! Lol! So that's good!

oh, did anyone catch the TMZ show last week where they caught james walking around on the UCLA campus with his back pack on listening to his head phones and they caught him even eating alone on a outside bench? he was wearing the same leather jacket he wore on the cover on Vogue Hommes International.

i thought he was already done with school

i went to the TMZ site and they don't have the video up.

Lol! I know I was traumatized when he told me that as well! Lol!! I was like, " STEVE BUSCEMI!!! NOOOO!!!" Lol! But it's only because he really hates pretty-boys and James is like the prettiest! Lol! But that's hardly a bad thing... :blush:

Yeah, I was so shocked reading that Busy story! I guess it came from Busy herself but... I dunno, it seems so bad! Lol! I'm guessing it can't have been as bad as it sounds though or I doubt all the cast would still like James as much as they do!!

No seen the TMZ video. Why are TMZ following him about?? Maybe I'm just not used to his fame level, but that seems so weird to me! Lol! I remember when nobody had any idea who James was and I'd have to say, " You know, Harry from Spiderman!!" and they'd go, " .... oooooh yeeeeah!"
Haha! Good times! He's still not very famous in Britain though. I still have to say Harry from Spiderman, just now the reaction tends to be, " Aaaaw, god!! Hot!" Lol!

It made me very happy for him actually because I remember an old interview from when he was still with Marla. After the interview was over it mentions how James drove up to the interviewer in his really sh*tty car and joked, " Hey, man, don't write about my car, alright?" ( Or something like that!)
And then to see him with that hot as hell thing I was like, yeeeah! Go James!! We can all write about that car! Lol!

Is he very close with Mila Kunis btw?? They've done a few things together now... I think they'd be totally cute together... :blush: ( Sorry Ahna!)
Cool that they're friends though because I love Mila!
 
that's cool. didn't know he and mila were that good of friends. i don't think i can handle him dating mila. i would flip out if he dated another celeb.

i wonder if mila is still dating the home alone guy.(i can't spell his name)

is james' car in the video an ashton martin? i remember reading somewhere that he loved his ashton and loved driving it a night. after he got the car he gave his brother davy his old car

^ Yeah it kinda looks like a Vanquish which is too much for me to handle since that's like my dream car ( and one of the only cars I actually know about! Lol!) I'd gladly let him drive me around in it!!

Yeah, I think he's friends with Mila. They did that The Hills parody as well. Lol! Dated another celeb?? Who else has he dated other than Marla? He didn't date Lohan or Miller ( although he would have been cute with Miller too!)

So cute he gave the car to his brother David! You can see pictures of David on IMDB! He's got his own page!!
