I am so happy that he is starring in better quality movies. He had such a run of bad luck in term of the quality of the movies earlier in his career.

As a die-hard River Phoenix fan, that picture of James by the Idaho road makes me so sad. I don't know why. I guess River and James are my two ideal actors... and it's like the past and present coming together in a really chilling way.

Anyway, I'm really excited to see Howl. I'm really compelled by the image of James as Ginsberg. I can't imagine it in motion yet but it interests me.
I'm not at all excited about his comedy films. He's a great comedic actor and everything but I think his power really lies in dramatic roles. He could be great if he stuck with that and I guess I just worry about these comedy films being rom-com flops and putting him back a few steps. I dunno...

Anyway, the sleeping lecture picture is great. What's funnier is that some student must have taken it with their camera phone! Honestly, if James was in any of my English lit classes I wouldn't learn a god damn thing! Ahna must be so paranoid, considering they're living on seperate coasts!

It makes me smile to see James doing so well, even though the weird thing is now he's more famous I'm actually way less aware of him than I was four-five years ago!

The replica Spyder used in 'James Dean' is now up for sale. There is a picture of one of the inside doors, which James signed. The date of the signature reads July 2000, I think ( God, nine years ago!?

Was out clubbing with some friends last night and one of them said James had been confirmed for the Jeff Buckley biopic.

I haven't heard anything about this. True, or false?

I know that Pattison dude was up for the role too ( not a fan), and I sort of thought he would get the role since I hear Pattison sings and plays guitar, and I've never heard James sing and when talking about his guitar playing in 2000, James said he had learned how to play ' Sunhine of Your Love'... and that was about it! Lol!

Anyone know anything about this?

I'm really excited to see the Allen Ginsberg film. James and Allen Ginsberg look so unlike but after looking at the pictures of James all made up he sorta does. It's believable. Yeah I also prefer to see him in more dramatic roles.
