i just watched the film! (finally)
i must say that while i watch the most gruesome and disgusting movies with no problem, all this talk about that scene made me anxious. i didn't close my eyes!
yes it was explicit but i expected worse. as some other people have said, i had more problems with the part in wich he breaks his arm rather than with the cutting.
oh, and he was amazing in the movie.
