Jennifer Connelly Nails Flawless, Yet Easy Airport Style
Jennifer Connelly made a statement at the Solo: A Star Wars Story screening in Cannes yesterday, wearing Louis Vuitton’s monastic minidress, then jetted out in slick style just after. Connelly had already made waves with her arrival look—a modern riff on the biker jacket and jeans, courtesy of a denim mini—but today’s takeoff ensemble was equally polished in its simplicity and slick tailoring.
Connelly wore a classic blazer with a nipped-in silhouette, paired with classic skinny jeans and stilettos. A series of iconic Louis Vuitton bags—a tote, trolley, and micro duffle—plus retro-inspired aviators elevated the look, taking the entire package into first class territory.

Jennifer Connelly landed in Nice, France today to catch the tail end of the Cannes Film Festival (it officially closes on the 19th) and dressed like a movie star for her airport arrival. Connelly is one of the faces of Louis Vuitton—she wore a modern homage to Joan of Arc by Vuitton to last Monday’s Met Gala—and opted again for the French fashion house here, infusing her all-American denim mini and T-shirt with Parisian edge.
Connelly topped her look with a quilted biker jacket by designer Nicolas Ghesquière, which was a cool foil for her ladylike Speedy bag and its intentional patina. The denim skirt’s A-line silhouette was flattering and complemented the demure hues of her look, while lug-sole boots—also a favorite of Jennifer Lopez—grounded Connelly’s ensemble.See this week’s best dressed celebrities:

The pleasure of having your friend being the CD of a brand!
I can only imagine what her closet looks like! All that Balenciaga/Louis Vuitton!
And now, i'm thinking about Marie Amelie Sauvé...Heavenly.
I don't blame her...
You should see Anna Mouglalis out and about in Paris, always in Chanel.
Well aside from being friends with Nicholas, she also gets a big check as well. Not saying there's anything wrong with it, lord knows I'd do it if I was in her shoes, but variety is the spice of life! I used to look forward to what she'd wear on the red carpet and now it's just a given it'll be something futuristic and borderline (if not completely) ugly.
I don't know brands like LV, Dior and Saint Laurent are so "aggressive" with their celeb endorsments. We don't see Chanel ambassadors wears Chanel all the time but yet, we can't say that their non-Chanel looks are damaging the power or the image of Chanel.
