Several of my "Karma" points were taken away -- ONLY after my response defending my point of view, which someone called "crap" earlier. I had checked my karma points last night, before the posting...before the points were zapped!

I thought it wasn't even possible to take away Karma points from someone. You can only ADD Karma points!?

The reason why everyone has their eyes on Lopez is that she's so "big" (as in powerful superstar ) and got so much press for such a terrible clothing line. We're debating Sweetface because it's ridiculous and UNFAIR to have someone really untalented in the designing departement (amont others ) who's getting loads of attention for something really terrible, when the real talents are not recognized for what they do.

Is it debatable?????? YES IT IS!

So then essentially who is at fault here?

*Is it Lady Lopez because she has the resources and the press at her feet?

*Is it the press for condoning such behavior?

*What if no one in the press attended her show?

*Is it because there are a few people out there that actually like her ( myself not included) and would like to emulate her style or to fantasize that they are her - so this collection was for them and them only?

*Are the people that assisted Lopez in designing this collection at fault;
(Those that had first view of... of....of this debacle and did not speak up.)

*Did they not speak up because they wanted to keep there jobs.

*Where did she get the material (fabric, buttons, thread, needles.....)?
Maybe we should boycott them for allowing her to do this to us. The horror!!!!!


Yes this can be debated. All personal feelings aside, at the end of the day this is all about business.

Just don't buy any of her stuff when they arrive at the nearest mall near you.

Plain and simple.

That should teach her.

Hmm...well who knows...the timing of it is odd...and like I said I dont want to believe that anyone takes our debates so deeply. Honestly that bothers me more than karma points, which are not meaningful to me.

that explains the toothy grin as she wore the shows grand finale ensemble.

The line was alright for her first one. It seemed that alot of the looks are already out there to me. I enjoyed some of them. Alot of fur though. I think that if she wasn't who she is that this line would get no attention. Here's some good ones.

I think the collection was really good. It did look a little like they tried to make stuff that was already happening on the streets happen on the runway, a little behind but still cute. I doubt Jennifer herself would wear any of it.

Her designers were like 21-28 they couldn't have been any older. Except for Andy Hilfiger, and we all know how incredible Hilfigers are.
