The orange is stunning on her. The way the dress fits is giving me 90s vibes.

I didn't think Armani would do a gown like this but it looks great on her, I love all the wide shots, especially from behind, that train does wonders.

This dress looks ugly and cheap.

Agreed! I do love the colour, indeed I love that she's been wearing so much colour over the past few days. That cerise knee-length number looks stunning on her.

I cringe at the sight of that T-shirt that exploits feminism for financial gain. I honestly didn't think Jessica would be caught dead wearing something like that.

Based on everything she's said about her feminism, I'm not surprised. She's a pretty standard white liberal feminist.

I have to admit, I didn't care for that lavender tasselled gown at first, but it's grown on me. I still think she's played it way too safe and predictable this Cannes though. I do most like her more casual looks though.

just an FYI: those "we should all be feminist" t-shirts were a dior collab with rihanna to raise money for her charity.

...The Clara Lionel Foundation, the nonprofit organization founded by Rihanna in 2012. The charity, named in honor of her grandparents Clara and Lionel Brathwaite, works to improve the quality of life in impoverished communities by promoting health, education, arts and culture.

i get that they're stupidly expensive, sloganeering, and so forth, but at least some proceeds go to a good cause, which seems to be the case with most of these "feminist" tees.

I was really excited when i saw jessica's first couple of cannes looks but that's been tempered considerably since.

Make no mistake Jane, this is a blatant damage repair move to the salvage the backlash which ensued after people called them out for monetising feminism. So yes, all's well that ends well, but their intent wasn't to donate a portion of the turnover to charity. That's why, I imagine, the selected charity ended up being tied to Rihanna (another major spokesperson and collaborator for Dior). It was a move done in haste.

It's the back of the gown that makes this look spectacular, because it is backless, and the necklace is framed to emphasize the backlessness. I like it.
