Jil Sander Menswear F/W 2022.23 Paris

It's clean and straight to the point. Great coats and great tailoring. This is the direction they should also applied for their womenswear.

Ten times better than their last womenswear which was a violent affront to the female form if I have ever seen one! It still feels like the male counterpart of Céline F/W 2017 but by now I've learnt not to expect much originality from these two...

I must say that while there is nothing groundbreaking, I haven't liked a menswear collection like this in a really long while. I already want to get 90% of these pieces. The perfect amounts of design, crafts, construction, quirks and wearability. This is indeed ready-to-wear. I don't want this like LV mutants to show off and brag, I just want this to wear outside on the streets and be stylish. Not a logo or corporate pattern in sight, no heavy branding, such a breath of fresh air.

It is everything I need in my wardrobe. And the casting is great!

Wish they were better when they do womenswear but can't have it all.

I feel weird saying this considering these two - but it's one of my favorites of the season!
