Well, personally, I'm loving it
all. I'm not attracted to gay men and their dress (i.e. andrew mackenzie), personally. No offense intended

, but even I can see that one can pick out items JG has designed and find them wearable. Granted not everything would be, but his shows are not necessarily made to convey that. They are more of a theatrical production, provocative and aimed to excite. The music, the models, the theme, the clothing and the way he brings all those elements together and clearly indicate that. Of course the term 'ready-to-wear' is quite the misnomer in this case but so be it. I think he's incredible. Daring. Inspirational. A conceited visionary...yet wonderfully real at the same time.
And I personally agree with birdofparadise when he says:
Of course, I could never AFFORD to buy that jockstrap for my bf BUT, man, I sure would love to see him in this cute little number:
The fact that it displays so beautifully the body God gave you works for me. Of course, the little neck-tie, cap and boots would not be on him

at the same time...but it looks good for Clément during Paris fashion week
Also, how is something like [much of] this 'not-wearable'?
I could do without the yellow logo, yes, but the cut works.
Same with much of this:
And, neither scream 'gay' at me. I don't feel that is quite JG's case this season...or even last for that matter.
Now, I do have to admit that much of A/W 2004 did scream it

but, again, it's all in the way the man wears it. If a man is straight, comfortable with his masculinity, confident and wearing anything from the last two seasons, he can quite possibly blow ones mind. If he is gay, comfortable with who he is and confident, he can make of the collection what he wishes, and also blow ones mind. It's all in the man and his intentions. I did not find anything this season or last particularly 'gay' though
Whew. Now, I'm rather out of breath and quite possibly no one will give a damn that I feel so passionate on the subject of Mr. Galliano, but I feel good to have gotten it out.
