John Galliano S/S 2014 Paris

Nothing here fits with the Galliano DNA at all. I get it's not his label anymore, but his name has a certain aesthetic attached to it, and this ain't it.

Change the name. Galliano isn't in this at all.. I do like the the majority of the pink looks though.

they should just close this brand. it never made any actual profit even when galliano was head designer, and whatever this is it has nothing to do with the brand itself. it's sad.

I thought it was a good collection. Some great pieces. Whether it should be under Galliano's name is another debate.

Great looks, frightening shoes (though I must admit that I enjoy them with the clothing, just not alone).

those shoes are awful and so is this collection it doesn't fit that location and it doesn't fit john galliano at all anymore

Totally agree. This collection is fine. But it could be a Prabal Gurung collection. I feel sorry for Bill but it's time to just shut it down.

^I don't feel sorry for him at all, this has literally nothing to do with John Galliano.

This could be by any other designer and I woudn't know (or care). It's not horrid, but it's entirely forgettable and lacks a strong identity that Galliano designs always had. Nothing here even remotely says Galliano.

And people are mad with Wang's Balenciaga...

The label should be changed ASAP or just plain shut down. From the clothes to the presentation of the show, it does not represent the true nature of the Galliano brand.

I just mean in general if they closed the label. John was one of his closest friends and the scandal really hurt him.

For me he pretty much got dumped into this role. From all the reports at the time he was teased by the media that he could possibly keep the Dior role and that didn't happen. He stated that he wanted it. You may look at the situation differently though.

I totally agree with you that this collection is not the Galliano DNA.
