Jonathan Anderson - Designer, Creative Director of JW Anderson & Christian Dior

At least his Dior Men is consistent. But is it just me or does his vision for Dior read more as Dior Girl and Boy? I meant i wonder how these clothes will look like on someone who's above 30.
It’s not just you. His Dior is very teens Dior. I guess most men and women, except influencers, will likely not wear any of these pieces together, maybe some pieces separately. His men’s Dior has more commercial pieces (that don’t make you look like a clown) than his women’s.

The rugby shirts will likely sell but why you would want to spend that much on a Dior rugby shirt when you can buy RL or Abercrombie (unless all you care about is people knowing it’s Dior).

When should we start seeing financial results associated to his collections? 3Q2026?

This is seriously bad guys. Like, not only does it look dowdy and cringe, it also lacks the modernity and sharpness of his menswear at Loewe, which are elements that I assume people at Dior thought he would imbue into Dior Menswear?

I don't understand how démodé this looks given his previous work and his current design team. Besides the fact that the pieces look like they were rummaged from a The Gap sale from the early 2000s and then lazily emblazoned with the Dior logo so that they can sell it for x20 the price, the styling is atrocious. It's the Steve Buscemi hello fellow kids meme come to life.

No shade, but you can tell this is the vision of a team of elderly millennials that have no clue what is actually hitting in terms of trends for anyone under the age of 30.
