In love with that shot, all the girls are killing me
They have transformed that Rodarte collection, Beautiful...

honestly, i'm so disgusted how they always seem to put all the "black girls" all together. the same with Lanvin S/S 11 finale.

it's like, they're saying.."well, let's try fitting all the black girls in one shot, that way people could be WOW'd"

^ uhmm yes, that's kind of true, i was thinking about that, too...
but look at this picture, and Lanvin finale: so powerful and special! looking great, if they would mix black and white girls that is not the same impression...

^ I don't mind it sometimes. Labeling the shot "Black issue" or "Black" something bothers me alittle bit, depending on the photographer &/or designers intentions.

I bought the magazine today and you have to see the entire editorial to understand it. they group asians together, blacks together, dutch models together, red heads together , blonds together and another group.

As a black person, I don't think there's anything wrong with it. Individually, these girls are making a [powerful] name for themselves in an industry still catering to the Prada-like robot, first. I think it's safe to say that there are more colored [top] models than ever before, and spreads like these (along with the Lanvin finale) are celebrating/showcasing A. that fact exactly, and B. their beauty. I can understand what you're saying, but sometimes we have to just accept things as they are given. You can't deny the ferocity/fierceness of this spread (and the Lanvin finale, again); it's blatant. In regards to what you said: it's like, they're saying.."well, let's try fitting all the black girls in one shot, that way people could be WOW'd" That's exactly what they were "saying"! Grouping these girls together gives an impact and makes people say 'WOW', which is the intending point.
