Jourdan's current position shows how laughable MDC's ranking is. She's working more and gets more press attention tan some of the girls in their top 5. Anyways glad to see her working so much, she truly deserves it.

Yeah I agree with ya'll on that her ranking is laughable, she's above that!

^ I actually disagree. I'm not gonna argue that the models.com rankings are justified or not laughable in general, but in Jourdan's case, she's got a lot more media coverage than actual model work at the moment. She had a pretty decent S/S 14 season with lots of campaigns (although there's almost no blue chip work amongst them), but for the previous season, she only had Aldo. She also falls kind of flat when it comes to editorial work, with close to zero relevant covers (besides i-D) and very little only girl editorials.
I think she's been really stepping it up lately, but for the moment, I think her rank is still okay as is.

The model lands a contract with the beauty company.

In a recent interview, Jourdan Dunn revealed that when she first moved to New York to model at 16 years of age, she was on the phone to her mum every day “crying and complaining.”

How things have changed for the 23-year-old Brit.

She has just been announced as the newest face of Maybelline, which puts her in the same class as Christy Turlington, Emily DiDonato and Julia Stegner.

“It is an honour to be a spokesperson for such an iconic brand,” said Dunn of her appointment. “I am proud to say that I am a Maybelline girl and hopefully I can make people feel the same way I did when I saw the advertisements growing up. The brand imagery is always beautiful and positive. To now be a part of that is a dream come true!”

Dunn is no stranger to signing a beauty campaign. She is the face of YSL’s touche éclat concealer alongside Cara Delevingne, Burberry’s English rose makeup line (also modelled by Delevingne) and CK One’s Red fragrance – and that’s just this season. Her resume is practically a list of every major fashion brand on the planet.

Plus, she’s raising her two-year-old son Riley and hosts a cooking program ‘Well Dunn with Jourdan Dunn’ on Jay Z’s YouTube channel.
While no images of her Maybelline campaign have been released, they will debut in print and television ads from this month.
