A manger would get her back to opening and closing major shows, a couple of BIG campaigns, maybe some more eds, probably get her face out there to the general public and most importantly, get her a MUCH deserved cosmetic contacts. Then she could just sit back & collect checks

What are you guys talking about "managers".. Joan Smalls does not have a manager, she has a booker/agent just like every other model.. (Joan's booker @ IMG is Kyle. He also manages Heidi Klum, Liya Kebede, Hanaa Ben Abdesslem, etc. - Major) I think you guys mean you want Jourdan to have a booker like Kyle, no? Right now, I think Jourdan's career is very solid. You can definitely tell that she has a certain freedom and get's to pick and choose which jobs she wants to do..

I'm confused isn't that what her agency is for? If models had to do that then thats 2 sets of ppl taking their 15-20% even before they've gotten anything.

Plus I will admit this is the first season post pregnancy I've actually relaxed about Jou's bookings. Usually its a "i hope" this yr I kicked my feet up and it kept rolling in. Certainly she's nowhere near her pinnacle but she isn't falling off either. I think her career can expand more it just depends on how much she really wants it: comfortable (moneywise) semi-famous model life with a not too crazy model life schedule or be everywhere and hardly home.
I think she needs to really formulate a plan, what am i gonna market my look to and stick to it. Eds and runways are great but you can't just do it for modelling sake it has to pay off into something and she hasn't fully cashed in on that in a consistent manner yet, but then again that may not be her fault...

Ok I mean a booker like Kyle then. The reason why I am not too fussed about her not reaching her big potential is because I remember all the things she achieved when she first came on the scene, which is kind of what Joan is doing now (maybe Joan is getting more money), but I watched an interview of Joan and it seems like this Kyle guy is really helping her (I'm a fan of Joan btw). And like Modelista said, her face deserves a beauty campaign, something like L'Oreal or something (I have no idea why they are using Jessica White ). I am greatful for the Burberry Beauty campaign though, and the Yves Saint Laurent. I think doing a lot of PR would be very useful. And BellaDonna you could be right, maybe she just wants to spend time with her son really and she is comfortable where she is *shrugs*

Is Jourdan in the Express SS 2012 campaign? I thought I saw her in one of their ads in Teen Vogue March issue.
