Where my heart is. I live in West London and I’ve never moved from the area.

What advice would you give a tourist?

Go to Hyde Park, or any of the parks, with friends, take a picnic, relax and watch the world go by.

What’s the first thing you do when you arrive home?

I take my two-year-old son Riley and we hang out at my mum’s house in Greenford. I travel a lot, so I love spending time with my family when I’m home.

What’s your beauty secret?

I put Vaseline on my lips every night before I go to bed.

If you could live in any building in London which would it be?

Selfridges, because it has everything I could possibly want, it’s in the West End and the building has character.

What would you do as Mayor for the day?

Install speakers on every street so everyone could listen to tunes all day.

Do you have a recurring dream?

No, my dreams are always different.

Where did you last go on holiday?

I try to go to Jamaica with my family every year. We rent an apartment and stay for a couple of weeks. I’ve got a summer trip booked with my brothers and friends to Marbella, where we’ll be renting a villa. And I need to get to Dubai this year. I want to stay at the Atlantis with my son.

What’s your earliest London memory?

Hanging out at the Trocadero in the West End when I was at school.

Which are your favourite shopping streets?

The obvious places: Oxford Street, Bond Street and, most importantly, Westfield.

What do you most like wearing?

I’m obsessed with jeans and I plan to create my own line for women of all shapes and sizes. Watch this space.

What’s the best meal you’ve had?

I love a good steak. The last one I had was at the Gaucho Grill in Chelsea. It was delicious.

What’s the best advice you’ve ever been given?

I’m surrounded by really strong women – my mother, my grandmother, my aunts – and they’ve always encouraged me to stand up for what I believe in and also taught me that love casts out all fear.

How would you like the opening line of your obituary to read?

‘Jourdan Dunn, the Londoner who really lived...’

What’s your biggest extravagance?

My car.

What animal would you like to be?

A lion, so I could be king of the jungle.

Which shops do you rely on?

Burberry for proudly British designer wear, Calvin Klein for underwear and Space NK – I’m obsessed with beauty products, especially Sisley, Crème de la Mer and Bobbi Brown.

Who’s your hero?

My son. He has sickle cell anaemia and is often ill, but he always manages to smile through the worst times.

What is your favourite London discovery?

The black cab app Hailo.

What was the last gig you went to?

I saw Drake last month at The O2 and he was amazing.

What were the last albums you bought?

Nicki Minaj’s Pink Friday Roman Reloaded and Labrinth’s Electronic Earth.

What are you up to at the moment?

Raising my son, working all over the world, choosing a Burberry dress for The Met Ball, reading a film script and bossing my brothers around.

Which is your favourite nightclub?

Aura plays really good music.

Have you ever had a run-in with a policeman?

No! I’m a really good citizen.

Tell me something I don’t know about London...

There’s a great Caribbean restaurant in Camden called Cottons, which serves authentic island food. It’s really quirky and cosy, with an open fire, and does delicious cocktails.

Jourdan Dunn rendait hommage à Christopher Bailey, directeur artistique de la maison Burberry Prorsum, en optant pour un ensemble de la collection automne-hiver 2012-2013. Composée d’une jupe beige à volants structurés et d’un t-shirt blanc orné d’un petit oiseau, cette tenue automnale convenait parfaitement au temps pluvieux de Londres.

Basically paying tribute to Christopher Bailey she is wearing all Burberry Prorsum from FW 2012-13, (beige ruffle skirt, t-shirt with a bird) and that her fall outfit is fitting since its very rainy in London.
