I know right. They've put Cara on the cover twice, and I know Cara is more popular but Jourdan's career/popularity is at a high and the magazine should take advantage of that. She's featured on Daily Mail and many other blogs, so her name is out there. Fix up British Vogue!

MDC is still a pretty well-known fashion website even if it "isn't Vogue". Regardless, that's no excuse for being rude, especially towards something that's complimentary.

I don't know that she was being rude, more so modest. Jourdan does not get a whole lot of fashion work today, she is basically all commercial so she may feel that MDC saying she's a fashion industry icon right now is incorrect. How many Vogue covers/eds and blue chip campaigns does Jourdan really have left? I love her but I feel she has faded from fashion. She is probably saying that since she isn't getting fashion work the list does not mean sh**. Clients won't book you based on this list.

Jourdan wasn't being rude, it wasn't a random statement she made, it was in response to a statement that was made to her. She was merely just giving her opinion.
