Julian Casablancas

Not just, HEY he's hot and has a wicked attitude and writes great lyrics... I've thought that since 2002.
But now, after watching many interviews throughout the years, and hearing his solo album,... I'm like... Oh dear, we'd be perfect together.

:innocent:
heeheehee

I think there are thousands of girls who think the same as you, including myself :shifty::blush::lol:
How could you be oh... so perfect for me?

Thank you so much for the videos ana, nothing better than starting the day listening to his voice  I loved the I'll Try Anything Once video. The girl screaming 'AHH', 'Julian, I love you!'

i knew it! he doesn't say "your girl is ill" - why the hell would he say "your girl is ill"?? it's "your achilles heel", now it makes sense.
and it's not "nothing is ever just how you plan" either, but "nothing is ever just anything"...
oh i'm loving this.

   Too cute a comment

^lol
you have no idea how many times i relistened to left & right in the dark to be sure there was no ill girl. river of brakelights is also very different from what's written on those damn lyrics sites.

I know what you mean, when I first discovered that I could find lyrics on the internet I was so happy, but then I figured out that not all of them are a 100% correct:innocent::doh:

I find it really hard to hear what Julian is singing sometimes, but I still love listening to the Strokes:blush:^_^

^it really is. (which doesn't justify some absurds people write:ninja::rofl:)
i think it's much easier to understand him than it is to understand pete or carl talking, but i generally get the libertines' lyrics more easily... (not that i'm comparing the bands)

Even music reviewers sometimes don't understand what he says. Once one from a big magazine understood "one night of sex and that's all?", instead of "1 9 6 9 what's that sound?":rofl:

Another interview, same things too, but I liked this part:
Whatever the outcome, fans need not worry about the Strokes disappearing permanently. “Whether it takes off or not, I’ll still do Strokes stuff,” Casablancas says. “I think (recording) is going to start in January, but I’m free for them whenever.”
The link.

I like his music from The Strokes. I only heard 2 songs from his new album.

^for some reason it was deleted from youtube and it hasn't been reuploaded yet...

now i was listening to his album again, and i think that what i like the most about it is how he used elements of classic rock'n'roll and took them to another level - not necessarily better, but more modern, as if he "adapted" them to the 2000s... not many people have done it this well imo.

another video of him singing Glass. here we can see his tight pants better:brows:

and I'll try anything once (higher sound quality)
