I really liked this movie on one hand, BUT I had two major problems:
There were certain scenes where the director/writer seemed to be saying "THIS IS COOL STUFF, LISTEN/WATCH TO THIS, SEE, THE CHARACTERS LOVE THIS!" Watching it made me tired. Those scenes were dreadfully pretentious and yes, self indulgent.

The other reason I didn't like the movie was the end. Yeah, give your baby away and move on with your life. Everything will be cool, no emotional trauma whatsoever. That sucker needs to be borned, after all.

Other than that, fabulous film.

i agree with you, but i think that's exactly what they were meaning to portray and that's what i find cute about it, actually.
