^ Excellent! And remember, Agent 'B', that Karl has also been seen using a big, black Mercedes sedan and a Porsche Cayan SUV- he may be trying to give you the slip in his own, genius way...!!

^ ooh! loves it, chanel n°5 bottles!!
so excited for the couture show...

white perfume bottles in a big size? I'm excited for this !!!

Full page ad from the back of yesterday's WWD...Do NOT mess with the Kaiser!!! (It is not very CHANEL to mess with the Kaiser)!! B)

I don't think I've ever heard any of the terms listed in the last paragraph. I like the "our lawyers positively detest them" bit, though.

Cathy Horyn put the audio of a two-part interview with Karl up on her blog today. (It's below the photo and to the right a little bit.

From the NY Times...B)

I asked Mr. Lagerfeld about the new collection, about staying current, and about those blog reports that he would leave Chanel and be replaced by Alber Elbaz of Lanvin. Mr. Lagerfeld said to forget about it. He was going to die with his boots on. He also mentioned that Alain Wertheimer, whose family owns Chanel, said he would sell the house when the designer leaves. This might not be the case, Mr. Lagerfeld said, but it was a nice thing to be told.

I'm half way there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
the day of the show, the rain prevented me from getting to KARL and/or his entourage, but the thing is I was walking back to the apartment today, and since it's very close to rue de Lille, and I had tried to go to 7L twice alrdy but it was always closed, I though 'third time's lucky!'
was I lucky? not exactly... the library was closed! but what do I see when I turn around?
TWO BIG HUMMERS parked in front of it. I asked the man and woman at the door the time they opened and they said it was open until 7pm... and since it was still 6:30 I didn't ask but just figured He had to be inside...
for a moment I wanted to scream: KARL KARL COME OUTSIDE! IT'S ME DARLIN'!
but I decided to walk away, just a few meters. While doin this none other but SuperSebastien shows up! acompanied by two men. I don't know who they are but we've seen them (one with a moustache and the other I'd swear was one of the coke butlers we constantly see around)
I sat with my friend nxt to the corner of the street (with all the exitement I forgot to tell you it was her that I was walking back home with).
sebastien took some Colette bags from the back of the hummer and I snapped some pictures that I'll post next week (when I have a computer) if they are any good... I had to zoom, etc
I sat in the street for ten minutes, nothing happened, sebastien was still there talkig to the moustache man...
I waited two more minutes, rain was imminent, I was kinda late for dinner... my oportunity was there, but god knows if I wouldve had to wait for 2 hours... so i left!
I'm leaving Paris in 3 days but I'm not giving up! I'm gtting closer! and I won't leave without seeing him!! (this is the creepiest thing I've ever written!! haha I do realize ... but you know... it's Karl et al... B) )

forgot to mention: I walked by the grand palais today and the side door was open as they are already removing the stage and all. I saw The bottles and they didn't look that big irl, then from the entrance and through the glass I could see them again but not so well...
maybe I shouldve asked if I could take one home! you know... just put one inside my bag! nobody will notice it s missing ;)

Don't worry, no one here thinks it's a creepy story, we're happy for you, at least you got to see Sebastien!

^oh, I hope that you will see him soon. you could maybe ask them at chanel if his available for a interview for tfs or something! hehe... ;)

Borja! I am incredibly, incredibly envious right now. I don't even have the words to describe it. I'll leave it there for now.

And the word 'creepy' didn't even come to my mind until after it was suggested...:ninja:

^ Nothing even vaguely creepy about it...It all seems perfectly normal and healthy to me- who has just, btw, passed the 100 Chanel binder mark and is looking for another bookcase to hold them all...

so good to hear this... it just makes me want to seat in front of 7L all Friday waiting for him to show up!!
...when btw I'll be alone in Paris, without my friends in the city anymore and nothing to do as I only have a plane to catch @ 21:00 the next day... the only thing that worries me is Karl seeing me with the bags, the tent et al outside, sitting in the streets... :ninja:
we do know that the homeless look appeals to the likes of galliano, but Karl... I'm not so sure. not so beyooond... or not in a karl-intellectually-simulating-ever-evolving-chanelesque kind of way, no?
anyway... if you were him, what would you be doing three days after one of your most decadent collections of delightful refinement (in the best possible way) to date?? in other words.. where should i camp? outside rue cambon? rue de lille? quai voltaire?
we do know he doesnt like (or need) a relax-in-some-far-away-private-island kind of vacation... so it's not likely that I'd need a plane ticket to follow him around, no?
(news soon)
