Karrina Steffans: Tyra slept her way to the top

i'll take Tyra's side anyday over this lowlife. First of all she should make it clear about "...sleeping with other people" bit and dont make her sound like a wh*re. It's no secret tyra dated men in hollywood. heck, almost everyone in the industry (modeling, entertainment) did.

Tyra has walked on couture runways, graced the covers of top fashion magazines, the ads of major designers, and landed major contracts with a cosmetic company and Victoria's Secret (same as Gisele).All of this while being black which puts her at a disadvantage in the modeling world. Why wouldn't she be considered a "top" model?

How long did any of her high-fashion gigs go on till she was pushing mass market companies? Not much. And to be honest,I think top model is really referred to models who have had International success. Tyra has never really had the kind of success somebody like Gisele/Kate/Linda blah blah has had on a large scale. Only in America. Therfore I don't consider her as a top model.

Anyhoo,tunievel(sorry if I spelled that wrong),Prince is absolutely correct. The fashion industry is indefinitely a major playground for paedophilia. No pun intended. Not many realise it because it's an issue that often(like Catholicism did for such a long time)gets sweeped under the rug. To be honest,I wouldn't be surprised if most models were taken advantage of at some point. That's how much of a probelm it is.

^ I always see the previews and it's always something about modelling or that model programme of her's. It's almost as if the programme is completely self-indulgent rather than making some sort of statement with it. Not that I really expect something substantial from a talk show other than mere novelty antics.

If you've watched any of his show "Politically Incorrect" you'd see that Bill Maher believes that all women are out to 'trap' men into marriage, and he believes that marriage to a woman is the most vile disgusting thing and he never wants to be involved with it.

There is much, much, much, much, more.

And i'm not just talking about someone who wants to sleep with a lot of people.?!!?!?

The Tyra show sucks! All she does is show off her modeling career and advertise stuff. It's bulls*** because it only shows the problem, but never offer any real solution: like about weight-discrimination, all she does is show people "it exists" and never say anything about correcting it. One of the most superficial shows on television! (Even though I met het and she seems real nice! But I have to say the truth. The show sucks badly.)

More, she is a business woman. Everything she does is caculated. She can be a Diva sometimes too that's what I heard. But she is smart to be nice to people she needs to be.
