I love how they're using "top" in the same sense as Kate Moss or Gisele getting to the top. I never really associated Tyra with being a top model... more so a commercial model in the same vein as Christie Brinkley.

I think the woman is selling a book... soo.... any publicity is good publicity.. she's a nobody afterall.. attacking a big name like Tyra banks is bound to get her some needed attention.

Also, isn't Karl Lagerfeld the one who "made" her in Paris when she first started out... and well.. I don't think Tyra is Karl's type if you know what I mean. And also I remember Simmons (his first name escapes me).. but the guy who owns Phat Farm and married Kimora.. I remember hearing he kept sending Kimora and Tyra flowers when they were first starting out and Tyra turned him down, and Kimora took him on because he was.. loaded probably.. I'm just saying Tyra doesn't seem to be that type to sleep around to get ahead... but who knows for sure.

This woman is beyond vile. She is also known as Kariina ' superhead' Steffans ( i guess I don' t need to explain why she got that name). Her book was out last year and basicly she talks about how she has been with almost all the rap artists known today. I don' t think she has any right to critise Tyra and make these claims. Tyra at some point had a high fashion appeal and has enjoyed success doing high fashion but it was very short lived as she lost her figure, became curvier all she had left to do was victoria' s secret.

I haven' t seen the interview but I would probably react with disgust to this women who has a teenager and still behaves in such a vile and un-lady like manner. She just needs publicity and attention.

Tyra has walked on couture runways, graced the covers of top fashion magazines, the ads of major designers, and landed major contracts with a cosmetic company and Victoria's Secret (same as Gisele).All of this while being black which puts her at a disadvantage in the modeling world. Why wouldn't she be considered a "top" model?

I've heard old interviews where she talks this way but she seems more reformed now. She was very lady like on Tyra. She most likely is still sl*tty while Tyra seems to have moved on. She does state Tyra did all this sleeping around about 15 years ago before this new success.

i dont think its a good justification to say that someones success comes from sleeping around. Even if that did help, trya im sure, is hard working and driven. and pretty, that helps in modellig! haha
