There was an interesting article in this week’s edition of The Hollywood Reporter regarding “The Rise of the Hollywood Mocktress”. (model/actress) I don’t think the term “mocktress” was meant to be insulting as the article points out that to an extent most actresses, including the A listers, are part of the business of promoting various brands. On the other hand, the article does go on to point out that some actresses are more known for their style than their acting – which I think has been mentioned a few times before in this thread.

In my opinion, in terms of the women whose publicity seems to skew more towards their fashion versus their acting achievements – Kate is definitely my favourite and I am always interested to see what she will be wearing.
