^^^ I Noticed that, but it is the exact same thing in all the GQ interviews, iv read over 5 and they all sound exactly like that, like the person is having a complete conversation JUST with themselves, Orlando’s GQ interview was exactly like that, I can post it so you can see, they are all put into the same format, so the person who did Kate’s interview didn't have it in for her that’s the way all the articles sound, its all about THEM, you hardly here the interviewer. So Kate wasn’t portrayed in a bad light compared to any of the other GQ interviewee. GQ is a mag about truth, it DOES take exactly what was from the tape recorder and put it on paper, its a non tainted or airbrushed interview. All the interviews start off with the scenery and what the interviewer 's impression of the person is, every once in a while they but into the interview and put a little bit of their 2 sense in.

The fact that they write everything word for word out of the interviewee's mouth is evident in Orlando's article b/c he curses a bit. They don't bother to take it out to make him look more presentable or sweet and Bambi like, they want you to see the way the person is EXACTLY the way they are.


^^ And they do probably interject, but they cut that out of EVERYONE'S interview, not just kate's.

yes. it's something that kids with high GPAs and good extracurriculars get into (well at least at my high school it was). but it's really nothing spectacular. it all depends on how hard the "admissions board" makes it. my school it was hard because the director for NHS was a witch. but other schools i know let everyone in who has a certain GPA or higher.

Yea, some schools only care about the GPA. But my school is a b*tch. you have to have a cumlative GPA of 3.5 or higher, which isn't THAT hard but here is the other ketch, you have to have a completely SPOTLESS disciplinary record, no detentions or anything, which is hard b/c all you have to do to get a detention at my school is to have your shirt untucked or shoe untied or not have your name tag on and then you get a minor, and 5 minors equals 1 detention, or your phone might beep or go off in class and that’s an automatic detention, plus you have to have at least one after school activity and you have to be recommended by a teacher, so that’s a little tough. But some schools only require a high GPA.
