I don't see where her hair looks all that damaged. The pics you posted are mostly at events so a hair stylist probably spent hours on her hair. I think w/o the products and styling her hair looks pretty much the same as it always has - thin & limp. Plus when she's 'off duty' she doesn't do anything to her hair.

I did really love her bob! I think she should go back to that, it makes her look a lot younger and fresher IMO

I agree Kate has always had thin hair and that it is generally going to look better styled for events. But I still maintain that recent pics show that it is overprocessed and likely damaged as a result. In some of this year's coachella pics it looked like you could pull at pieces of her hair at the front, and it would separate like cotton candy! This pic also shows the processing - just imo anyhow.
