No one knows for sure if its her son as in she gave birth to him or not...but yeah that's her kid in the movie..

Oh she's too young...kids of the main characters in movies always bother me.

^well in the movie she's supposed to be like 30ish...you have to suspend your disbelief of her and Brandon Routh's age, they cast younger actors so they could relaunch the franchise if all goes well.... I dunno she did it as Sandra Dee, she played the 16-27 year age span plus she had a young child in that as well and I think she did it fairly well I think once you see the movie you'll believe it more (hopefully!)

I loved Young Americans, but that was years ago, so I didn't remeber it was Kate B. and Ian S. either! And recently I kept reading about Ian and Kate being in Young Americans and I thought I'd never seen that show, until I read an interview with Ian about his and Kate Moennig's characters and I was like "ohhh, THAT show!!" I couldn't believe I had forgotten the name of it... I still remember clearly of some scenes and I couldn't remember the name of it, or the actors' faces. Ridiculous!

^hehe you probably didn't recognize kate b cause she looked really young in that show...I think she was 17 or 18 so she still had like baby face and then suddenly she grew up and just look slightly different...its funny if you compare then and now pics..
