Knowing that celebrities are paid to attend Coachella gives new meaning to why she dresses the way she does there (I still remember last year either and/or her stylist posted something about getting the fashion ready for it). Still I wish she would stop putting ~effort~ into it, and just enjoy it. It's rock concert in the grass, not a red carpet event, Kate!

I really love her new hair colour for the movie she's filming. That said, agreed she needs to take better care of her hair.

^ Those two looks are so boring to me, I hated when she (and everyone else in Hollywood) wore head-to-toe Isabel Marant nonstop, it was so mindless.

I agree though, this Coachella look is absolutely ridiculous looking.

^ Agree insofar as I am finding all the Coachella looks boring, even Sienna's, Poppy's and yes, Kate's. I guess Kate's is a little different, but it still has that try-hard vibe of so many other looks I've seen from there.

And HeatherAnne, I hear you about Marant, but that sort of "sophisticated boho" look somehow works on Kate for me. I like her in either minimal (as in Lola's post/link) or upscale boho. Sometimes Proenza is awesome on her as well. But it's hit and miss.

I actually don't hate her Coachella looks - the floral one is kind of cute (minus the neck-- piece or whatever and the horrendous shoes), but her candid style as of late has been kind of... erratic, I guess is the word. One day it's simple and chic, the other it's 'I'm trying so hard to look edgy'. When she goes for the simple and chic, I tend to really like it.

The ongoing complaint in this thread for soooooooo long has been about her hair. It's too bad she doesnt take good care of it. One would think her stylist would tune her into the fact that bad hair can bring down the tempo of an outfit.

??? I think her hair looks incredibly healthy, and has ever since she ditched the platinum for lowlights well over a year ago. She has thin hair, yeah, but that's beyond her control.
