The singer was performing at the Boogaloo pub in north London on Monday night - the day before Kate Moss celebrated becoming 33. The Daily Star reports that Doherty marked the occasion by taking off all his clothes.

He then apparently declared: “This is for Kate ,” before launching into his last song, a rendition of 'Happy Birthday'.

A fan present explained: “Pete was going for it on the stage. He started to strip and the crowd went wild. He had his red amplifier and started simulating sex with it.

"Kate looked mortified, but Pete caught her eye and winked at her and then she smiled."
