Pete Doherty might be making a move into the world of acting. He's been offered a role in the remake of Carry On Cruising, which could also star stunning model and actress, Kelly Brook. An insider said, "Pete was approached about playing the role of a wannabe rock star who works as a performer on a cruise ship. It's a rags to riches tale where in the end he gets it all – the lifestyle, the money and the girl. Kelly has been mentioned as a serious contender to star as one of the dancers on board the vessel, which sails from New York to Hawaii. It will be her character that Pete falls for." Pete's supermodel Kate Moss is supportive of his acting ambitions, but the Babyshambles frontman hasn't quite made his mind up yet. The source added, "it isn’t 100% clear if Pete will give the go-ahead. As well as Kate being his main priority wub: ), he still wants Babyshambles to be a huge part of his life . Kate has said that should he go for the film role, she will be on set as often as her schedule allows."

Talking of Kate perfroming, i have always liked the 'belle a la beste' song, waay earlier, even when it was really different to the album sound but i must say i adore her voice, and especially so the lyrics she singing, well the line 'is she more beautiful, is she more beautiful, is she more beautiful , then me? It goes from bad to verse as Kate leaves lover's poem on toilet floor

PETE Doherty penned a soppy love poem to Kate Moss - but then left it on a sodden toilet floor.
And just after Pete wrote the tribute he flew back home alone.
The 27-year-old singer scrawled the sentimental ditty on the back of a hotel menu during their recent holiday in Thailand. But his efforts were later found abandoned next to a cubicle in the resort's restrooms.
Writing at the Amanpuri hotel, Pete drivelled: "As we go into 2007, it feels like we're in heaven. Pete wearing his black hat and Kate in white silk." Wordsworth - it ain't...

Troubled rocker PETE DOHERTY was arrested for joyriding early yesterday (13JAN07) morning, just hours after he ruled out marriage to his supermodel girlfriend KATE MOSS. At around 5am police officers noticed a car thought to be stolen in Hackney, east London, and prompted the driver to stop by flashing their blue lights. But the car sped off and cops were forced to chase after it. Doherty, who was allegedly a passenger in the car, reportedly tried to flee when it eventually came to a halt, but he was soon caught by police officers. A spokesman for London's Scotland Yard police confirmed, "Police arrested three males aged 35, 22 and 27 in the early hours of Saturday morning." Last night (13JAN07) Doherty was reportedly still being kept in a police cell awaiting bail. Earlier in the evening the 27-year-old had played a gig with his band BABYSHAMBLES nearby, announcing afterwards, "I'm never getting married. I don't believe in it. Kate and I are in love - I worship her - but we're not going down the aisle. I'm happy the way it is."
