I know you like him (and them) M.J., really I do, but cheating scumbags suck! Granted, I wasn't there so I don't know what really happened and should Kate choose to forgive him, if he makes her THAT happy, go for it, but that man seems to have looked his gift horse (Kate) in the mouth and then thrown her in the trash by philandering with that nasty thing they call a "model." Eeewwww.
As for them being the greatest love story of our time, with all due respect, I don't know about that... They are pretty tragic together, but does that make them great?
Seems to me Kate is getting more hurt by being around him than by not...it can never end... not as long as im around!!... its Kate and Pete.... i love their pictures but I also don't want Kate being hurt

That seems to be so true for most of the people around him who love him, like his old bandmate Carl and then his new band members now too. I'm always so glad that Kate sticks beside him, but if he really is cheating on her he needs to get it together and wake up. He's been ordered to rehab (again!!) so maybe he can think about what he did to poor Kate. He needs a timeout!

Pete seems to need to hit rock bottom (the very bottom) to seem to snap out of his bad habits. Getting kicked out of the Libs didn't seem to break his habit and apparently neither did his commitment to Kate... hmm...

Yeah, I'd say both Carl and Kate have been through a lot and I agee with you jealous_hearts. Pete does need to hit rock bottom, but after everything that has happened and the fact that he hasn't stopped, I'm kind of afraid to think what rock bottom might actually be.

For years they defiantly stuck together while friends and family urged them to split.
But now it seems the tempestuous romance between model Kate Moss and her boyfriend Pete Doherty has finally hit the buffers after he reportedly cheated on her.
The Babyshambles singer unwittingly confirmed the pair had gone their separate ways when he appeared in court yesterday .
Asked to give his address, he began to give Miss Moss's details before correcting himself, saying: "Actually, that has changed."
Pete Doherty arrives at a London court today ,he broke down and wept as he admitted his law-breaking had been triggered by "personal problems".
Miss Moss, 33, changed the locks on the heavy wrought iron gates to her home in north London yesterday while Doherty has moved back to the flat he owns in Hackney, East London.
Doherty, 28, was pictured having a cosy tete-a-tete with a South African model on Friday after a night at the Crystal nightclub in London.
When word got back to Miss Moss the next day, she was said to have flown into a rage and locked him out of the home he has been sharing with her for months, then fled to Paris with her daughter Lila Grace.

His lawyer Sean Curran told the court he had been "suffering personal problems" when he was arrested in May in Kensington, West London. He added: "He had difficulties in his personal life that led to him to be caught in this situation driving his vehicle."

But district judge Davinder Lachhar warned him he could be jailed.
A friend of Miss Moss said yesterday: "Pete is in absolute turmoil. Up to this point Kate was in complete awe of him but the one thing she would not put up with was infidelity. 'Pete denied it happened but Kate told him to get out. He tried to reason with her but she was adamant. They have not spoken since."

They're both gonna wear out their prettiness with all this dual-candle-end burning drama, and they ain't even crossbred with one another to produce a hardier-yet-even-prettier variety of high-cheekboned addict---which I think is the real tragedy here. Get them to freeze some embryos for our children's amusement's sake.

I was reading in the Kate thread and did not want to post there because it doesn't relate to her fashion, but Pete is now apparently claiming to be the one who called for a break in the relationship because Kate was keeping him on a short leash. This may be true, I don't know and I don't care, but:
1.) he still cheated
and
2.) in my humble opinion, it just goes to further prove what a flaming ***hole he really is since a true "gentleman" would never blame the lady in a break-up... A true gentleman, worthy of pity, love and understanding, would be much, much more noble.
