Kate Moss For TopShop

I went in today to a store that stocks alot fo the collection. some of the stuff was not nice at all! the star print blouse was a total let down, and the sizes were generous the cream embroidered dress was cute but it didn't fit. the boyfriend blazer was really nice though but i can just wear my bfs for free. i ended up getting the daisy print blouse, i picked up the dress but decided i didn't want a to the knee dress. i bought stuff from regular topshop in the end as i decided the new moss stuff was mostly a waste of my hard earned money.

also, as you may have noticed ebay UK is FULL of KM for topshop items (older items)...where are these sellers getting these garments so cheaply?

Item on sale in Oxford circus are dirty cheap and they have huge stock, You can get things for £10, £15 and even get items for free.

I bought a bunch Kate Moss stuff when to give to my girlfriends back in my country and I remember buying that popular white dress for £15 and getting another one for free. The bandeau beaded dress for that Sadie wore for £6 pounds and also getting another. They have this promotions buy one get one free at a certain point.

You can get loads of items on sale, or because they are very popular and they ordered huge stock or because they are so strange that no one wants them, but there are certain items that because they are "original" never get to discounts, things like that cape in the Id cover, some limited edition expensive dresses, things that are dressy but well done and cute, they are sold out way before sales.

I like some stuff of this collection, particularly the white and the navy dress, I think is perfect for someone that is getting into fashion or needs to update their wardrobe, but for the rest of us and sure we already have similar pieces, i do at least.

I only found out yesterday that this collection is launching today   Shame on me! I was in Oxford Street Topshop and bought Kates 50s style yellow dress (gorgeous and that yellow looks so good on me), top hat print tee (the one with the black print, I really wanted something like that) and striped cardigan with star buttons (I was in red skinny jeans and it matched perfectly ^_^). Star print shirt was a big disappointment (especially the collar or rather lack of it) but I really liked and wanted to buy the boyfriend blazer. I am still thinking about it

Stamoholic: Do you know if the 'Pinstriped Skinny Flared Jean' comes in both lenght 32 and 34 or just 32??
Thanks in advance!

What a difference a year makes: Kate Moss's latest collection opens to a stone cold reception

You might have seen tumbleweed on Oxford street this morning as Kate Moss' new Spring collection was launched at Topshop.

Perhaps it was the post St Patrick's Day hangover (or possibly the sudden drop in temperature) but not a soul was seen at the superstore at 6.30am.
Last May crowds snaked the streets through the night and into the early hours in eager anticipation of the supermodel's clothing range. Scroll down for more...

Has she lost her touch? A decided lack of crowds greet Kate Moss's launch before opening in Oxford Street

Just can't get enough: Crowds flock to the opening of supermodel's collection last May

Hundreds of eager shoppers queued at last year's summer launch - only being allowed to view the clothes in small groups and permitted to try eight items and buy five per person.
But party girl Kate, 34, seems to have been left on the “sale rail” by new models like Agyness Deyn.
Deyn recently toppled Kate Moss's lead in Tatler's best-dressed list as party planners clamour for her and Indie band boyfriend, Josh of The Paddingtons. Scroll down for more...

Left behind? Kate Moss' fifth collection for TopShop launches today. The model once again drawing heavily on influences from her own wardrobe

This is the fifth season for the Kate Moss range that has enjoyed moderate success in the high street store.
The Spring collection features a proliferation of floaty tea dresses inspired by Kate's own wardrobe.
There's also a Gypsy influence with tasselled waistcoats and embroidered shrugs.
The sexy ex of Pete Doherty flew to Mexico to model the new range which also includes skinny jeans with flattering vertical stripes, hot-pants and a vintage style beaded black dress. Scroll down for more...

Hello again. (I actually answered this question in a previous post but never mind). The point is, I did see those jeans you were asking about in 32 and 34 length in my local Topshop today. I don't understand why they don't offer different lengths online for KM jeans because they clearly do offer different choices of length for the rest of non-KM jeans online. Bizarre.

:)

I wonder why the star print shirt's collar isnt same as the pic of kate's wearing it:blink::(kate version is much better

maybe it's just the lighting? I hope it's like the color Kate wears..

I noticed that the Broderie Anglaise jacket is different from her on the photoshoot. The sleeves are ruffled and well, different. So much nicer. Is it just me or is this line less Kate?

So what's the problem for her smaller succes compared to her previous lines??

I'm not in the UK atm because I'm on holiday and I feel like I'm missing out on the late March fashion releases! If you've bought something from the new Kate Moss Top Shop collection, please post pictures!

MissyJG - at second glance your quite right about the broderie anglaise jacket sleeves! I feel a complete turd-troll because falling in love with the jacket in the press pics I just automatically placed an order for it. I did see that it didn't look too fantastic in the web shop pics but didn't catch on to the possibility that it could be significantly different. It's disturbing that the ruffled sleeve prototype is used on the launch pages and then simply not manufactured for sale... I bet Kate's pleased she has own unique superior versions of the pieces she sells to the masses:ninja:

Oh, I'm so sorry, it must have slipped my eye:(

That's very weird, cos they do offer both lenght in other KM jeans:huh:
I hope it'll change, so I can get the jeans with the right lenght for me.
Thanks for answering so quickly, Gwen:flower:

The same with the white embroidered tunic dress. It has the cutest sleeves attached to it for the Elle shot.

I received notice that both my items are shipping, so I'll post a review once I receive them.

Lucky you;)

we'll see about that in 5-7 days, I'm hoping my luck doesn't run out. Grill you are not a "turd troll" lololol. I didn't realize the cute black dress I ordered was navy until I saw the bill:doh:

^ dreams - That navy/black dress looks like it could be the best piece of the collection. Hopefully, you'll like it - that and the white tunic dress look like the most popular pieces of the collection.

Does anyone like the suede fringe vest thingy - honestly (and no offense to those who like it) - you'd have to pay me to wear that it so horrendous....!

As soon as I receive my stuff I'll let you know what I think and what I'll be keeping - if anything!

I was wondering if there's a limit on how many items you can order online at once...?

^ I'm not sure on the exact number. But there's nothing to say that you are restricted to only buying a certain number of items from the KM collection.

^ It's not that popular now. As far as I'm aware there are no restrictions needed.
