Finally an irl shot of the dress I bought. I was hoping my dress would have come by today but I guess for $15 you get slow mail. I'll hopefully be posting an outfit shot on Monday. Where are all the Brit girls photos, you've had access this stuff since Tuesday:angry:;) I want to see outfits!

^ This Brit girl thought it all looked pretty boring, so she's not bought anything. Sorry!

I will say that dress looks way better " in person" than in the display picture on Topshop though, gloria.

That's okay, I want to read all reviews, whether negative or positive. I just wish there were more pictures. I always like things better once I see them on someone, working their own style into it. Then of course I have to have itB)

here is a photo of what the feather/fur gilet looks like on a real person (teenvogue.com)

I saw a "real" pic of the angora coat on ebay. I thought the angora coat would be a little bit thicker like a winter coat but in the pictures it looks more like a knit cardigan.

does anybody have the coat at home already? is it warm? can you wear it on really cold days?

I know, I've seen someone list it as a chunky cardi!

I saw the coat in my local TopShop yesterday (still quite a lot left), and it does look very very nice. Feels very soft and cozy too. I wasn't interested in the coat until I saw it in person yesterday. Very good cut & beautiful texture. But the price put me off.

Anyway, the point is, it does look like a chunky (and furry) long cardi, not really a proper winder overcoat type of thing. I mean, if you wear enough warm clothes underneath, you could prob wear this coat on a really cold snowy day. But generally speaking, I wouldn't count on it too much on a really cold day. I would love to own it if the price were cheaper. It looks very chic and quite punky/rock N roll too.

Gwen: I am glad to hear that it looks good IRL. I am still waiting for mine to arrive.

Goldlion: Thanks a lot ;)

The angora coat sounds like the best thing out of the collection, love the collar.

I received my feathers dress and the ruffle around one side was sewn on wrong:rolleyes: After thinking it over last night I'm not even going to bother getting another after I return. I think I'm going to focus on finding a piece that I wanted from an earlier collection but it sold out too fast online.

I've taken some irl pics of the pieces I've purchased from her new collection so far:heart::

I like that cardi irl but I still think none of the collection are worth the price. After seeing all the collection close up I realised none of the items are that special to me so I decided i'd put my money towards something more worthwhile. Like Topshop's normal range haha.

I ordered the feather long-sleeved tee and got the Starlight shirt for free. They arrived yesterday and was pleased that they were true to size, maybe a little bigger than a standard U.S. size 12. It's a cute top and it's a keeper but it is a little pricey for $55. At least with the free shirt I got a $105 transaction for $70.

The lessons learned? Topshop's size 16 tops fit me just fine and it better be something that I can't easily find here to justify the killer exchange rate and the $15 shipping fee!

this seems to be the basis for one of the coats this season. dailymail.co.uk
