How do you say hello where you’re from? “Waz up?” What is your coffee order? I try not to go to Starbucks, but. . . a double tall whole milk latte with extra foam. What are the three items you always keep in your purse? My Samsung Galaxy, lip moisturizer, and a pen.

How were you discovered? I sent my photos to a New York agency when I was fifteen. Most memorable modeling moment: I think when this is all over, I’ll remember the friends I’ve made, not a particular moment. If you weren’t modeling, what would be your dream job? If I weren’t modeling, I’d be an architect. Dream job? Um, being a Bing homepage! If you could trade closets with someone else, whose would you choose? My sister, so she could enjoy my clothes. What new addition to your wardrobe are you currently craving this season? More colors! I always default to neutrals. What nail polish color are you wearing right now? Some red left over from a show, but normally, none. Beauty item you cannot live without: Bioderma H20. How do you stay in model shape? Any tricks of the trade? I exercise regularly and always eat healthy.

What is the first website you go to in the morning? Twitter, these days. What is your Twitter handle? @Kendra_Spears What movie is at the top of your Netflix queue? Mad Men—I’m more of a series girl. Name the television character with whom you most identify: Elaine from Seinfeld. What’s on your Kindle/Nook/iBook shelf now? I prefer actual books—right now I’m reading East of Eden by John Steinbeck. One place you always visit while in New York: I’m always hanging out in SoHo. Favorite destination you have traveled to so far: Paris. Where would you like to go on your next vacation? Wherever—as long as it’s with good company. What quality is most attractive in a boyfriend/girlfriend? Kindness. Name one natural talent you wish you had: Music! Guitar and piano. What is the best advice you’ve ever been given? “Don’t take it personally” and “It’s fashion—we’re not curing cancer.” What are your words to live by? Learn from everything. If you don’t learn from unfortunate events, that’s all they are.
