I think it's also a matter of knowing your child. Harper Beckham doesn't need headphones because she can actually sit through a show and not fuss. Clearly, Gwen Stefani's did and she acted accordingly.

North doesn't like fashion shows. It's obvious. Do we not remember how irritated she looked at the Givenchy show back in October?

Any child who is crying at a fashion show, be it North, or South, doesn't need to be there. Period. Leave them backstage and bring them out when you do your final walk.

Anyway, Kim looks good in the all black with shades. Love that coat.

H7 is older for one thing so she might not need earphones and the music at her mother's show is not blasting, like Gwen's. North not wearing them, at least in Kanye's show did not seem necessary since the music was low (at least from I saw of the video). I don't think its a matter of North not liking fashion shows, no toddler is going to sit still for any amount of time. But imho, Kim can't do anything right according to some, so of course she's going to be criticized for being a bad mother too.

Every child is different. I don't think Kim's a bad mother but if North is being fussy sitting front row of Fashion Week, even taking her to a secluded area for a few minutes to try and calm her down might help. You can't predict when a child will start "freaking out" and there are numerous reasons why it happens, but that also being said, you want to have respect for the people around you as well who are trying to enjoy the show.

That music at Kanye's show sounded like the horn that goes off everytime someone dies in The Hunger Games. Like seriously, it even irritated me.

I get that Kim is overly criticized. She is. But if a toddler isn't going to sit still and be quiet like you say, and we all know, then North shouldn't be there. It's disruptive to others. It's like when people bring their baby to the movies. Not the place for a child. Especially a fussy one, is all I'm saying.

I don't like what she's wearing (with the exception of the elaborate design on the back, that outfit...). It would've looked better if it was an over-the-knee dress. The jumpsuit is way too revealing in the front (top and bottom).

Regarding taking children to fashion shows, it's not being a bad parent so much as having really bad manners in my opinion. I would be seriously pissed if someone had placed a fidgety toddler next to me at a fashion show/movie/play/whatever. I feel like surprisingly many parents are blind to the fact that the rest of the world don't find their child adorable in absolutely every situation. And I guess with money and fame you don't have to worry so much about manners.
