Every look is like its own little world.. love it. Also feel like I can see the way he’s influenced contemporary designers (especially the Belgians). Wonder what he’s up to these days..

He has an exhibition at Fondation Alaia at the moment. Very different garments in comparison to the more commercial looks shown here.

^ why did he switch so much? the level of commercialism in his early 00s collections is even less recognisable, it almost looks like Anna Molinari’s distant cousin and not like someone who was under Yohji’s umbrella.

I don’t know… I do recall that his runway collections were sometimes styled according to the trends of the season - even if some pieces in them were so unique.
