I used to live in Brooklyn and I agree with you, Echo Park is very reminscent- lots of artists and more edgy than NY.

Wow what a fun thread I just looked through all 13 pages, couldn't believe i hadn't come across this before.
Looks like life is really fun there Orchide, thanks for sharing with us!!
I love how colourful everything is, even when the people wear black, it's really vibrant!
And the place names are cool too, "echo park" and "silverlake" sound magical. Never been there, hopefully will someday
