Lad Musician

You're welcome, Softgrey and nqth. As for being sold in the U.S., I've no clue. :/

Heh, oh yea I remember seeing the name of their womens line and chuckling.

Lad Musician is sold at Naked in LA, I think it's the only US stockist.

I love the coats and blazers. I've never been a fan of t-shirts, though.

Thx, Cerfas :flower:

thanks space...:flower:
i think i passed by that store...but didn't go in...
is it good?...what other kind of stuff do they carry...?

Well it's 's'alright if you like that kind of thing. Does it come with special LOW price-tag so that said lad musician can afford it?

The men's store has Lad Musician, Cloak,Levi's RED other obscure deisgners. The womens store has Boudicca, Robert Cary-Williams,Preen, local designers like Maia Sarmanian and society for rational dress. It's one of my favorite stores.

Last I checked on their website I think the jeans were roughly in the $200 USD range. Not cheap, but I think it's a better investment than Diesel/True Religion/Seven etc...

Yeah, it's a better buy...but I don't agree with prices like that on moral grounds.

yeah the jeans are like 200- 250, they are a nice cut and good washes and every thing.

Thanks for informing us about this store, Space...I might be heading down to LA this coming Christmas/New Year's, and it sounds like the store carries some stuff i might like so that was definitely helpful!

PoC wouldn't like those Yohji ones then eh?

 for sure.

My first jean price shock is attributed to Yohji. I think you have that pair, actually. It was a couple of years before Hedi Slimane made it Ok to want a $500 pair of jeans. I saw Yohji's $500 jeans, and I distinctly remember a moment of feeling completely dumbfounded. Not the usual appalled or sarcastic, just dumbfounded  .

i've never paid more than $20 for a pair of jeans...
well...maybe in high school when the first round of designer jeans happened...
i had some jordache and some guess and sassoon baggies...:ninja:...:innocent:

then i stopped wearing them all together for years and years...

i can't relate to hundreds of $$ for 'the finish'...i can distress and customise them myself...i'm not paying hundreds of $$ for someone else to do it...

Softgrey, I agree. Fit is more important. I never spend a lot of money on jeans.
