"Honeymoon" single!! LOVE LOVE LOVE the Henry Mancini-esque strings throughout! Sounds great! Hope that that literal 1960's cinema sound is a recurring theme in the upcoming album...it's a fresh, but so fitting, new sound for Lana!

James Franco Has Written a Book About Lana Del Rey
Earlier this year, James Franco wrote "Shades of Cool", a poetic tribute to Lana Del Rey, for V Magazine. Now, he's followed it up with a 100-page book, Flip-Side: Real And Imaginary Conversations With Lana Del Rey, Stereogum reports. Check out the cover below, featuring photos of Franco, Del Rey, her sister Chuck Grant, and MoMA director Klaus Biesenbach at New York’s Fort Tilden beach in July 2014. The book, which is co-authored by David Shields, is due on March 15 next year.

Lana is a true visionary of our time. She doesn't depend on Lady Gaga's theatrics (yes gaga can belt it out) but shes just so badass and at the same time sweet and endearing. And holy crap she knows how to play up her sexiness. She's a bombshell and I love her. I've seen her music described as "sadcore" and "Old Hollywood." When I first heard her sing video games it really affected me on a level like I have never before experienced. I watched it on youtube, she was singing live on Jools Holland and she was obviously very nervous. She stood still in a white dress and her voice quivered at times. It was so authentic to see someone young who hasn't been trained by all the big producers in the music industry and the song still brings up emotions.
I feel like she's a genius. I love listening to her leaked tracks and watching the vids that she made herself, but I do have mixed feelings about her computer being hacked and having all her music THAT SHE PUT TOGETHER HERSELF exposed without her consent. Yes, its quality, its entertaining, but if she had released those tracks in series of CD's or MP3s or whatever, I would feel better about listening to them. There is A LOT out of there.

I didn't like the Honeymoon track she posted the other week, but I didn't really listen to the full thing either. I love her older stuff, along with all the other albums she's put out.

I'm starting to get really excited for her new era. image wise it looks very different from her previous incarnations. :P

Whoa! that is a drastic difference compared to the other two photos. Reminds me of Barbarella. lol

it's hilarious to me that the entire fanbase is freaking out about the #459 picture and being "scared about the new era" and that it seems weird or dumb of her to pose with a gun, whereas i think it's absolutely genius!!! i'm super stoked for the video to come and also a gun makes sense given the lyrics to HBTB.
i can't wait to see a new lana in full force ;) that's how i always saw her frankly (i mean just look at the "kinda outta luck" lyrics for example). i always saw her as this super genius, not afraid to be violent or shocking or "uhuh, what is everyone going to think of me" kind of DM. she always did whatever she wanted to do, she's a bada**!!!!!
