although some poly cotton is really nice.. we use one at my work, and it is so much softer and smoother than the 100% cotton there ...
anyways

hopefully the design itself, of the garment is worth the price..

what can I say that hasn't been said in already 15pages of thread.
that Alber is genius we all know!!!
the 40s silhouettes that enhance the models figure with post-war new look waists mixed with these bold jewels that look to me both like out of 24th century sophisticated machinery and yet so mothers-day-present-your-kid-made-for-you-in-class... the whole thing looks radiantly now!
he has a couture approach that make the pieces worth whatever they put on the pricetags and more! he takes lanvin up to a well deserved olimp of the finest Parisian artisans and createurs that only a few have the gift to appreciate.
whenever I hear people complaining about the loss of true fashion and creativity and fine work, and the disastrous take over of overt commercialism, I'd tell them to just come and see this!

because no matter how decadent his collections, there's always light in them. this is always great hopes fo rfashion and it's evolution and all I can say is bravo alber!

even the raw edges.. maybe the trim, the embellished darts

wow. personally i think the best show soo far. everything looks soo delish! the costume jewelry is beyond 'chunkiness'. the shoes, the bags are all to die for!! i mean, who would have thought what they've match in the collection can look soo good together if u know what i mean.

the dress, fur --- i can only die in that if i die next season. jk
