Strange to see a campaign for this atrocity of a collection. They have nowhere to go but up.

Maybe a completely out-there, unapologetic campaign could have made the collection into something.
I, by the way, did not hate the collection.

I think the image is nice especially with the art direction, nothing groundbreaking, in fact I'm more keen on the jewellery than the dress. Perfect for the Town & Country reader. This was going to be a dud based on the actual collection, but I think it turned out better than expected. At this stage I want to go lightly on Lapidus knowing how little agency hes got, and how much pressure he must endure.

It's not horrible. The last few campaigns already lowered our expectations. His blood, sweat, and tears better go into the next collection. If it's not a hit then it's game over for Lanvin.

I was getting bored by Lanvin toward the end of Alber's reign, but had I known it would get this bad, I wouldn't have complained. This is just sad. That first shot, especially, is depressing.
