i bought this ones last week @ urbanOutfiters, really nice, but too tight at the lower leg (same problem with the leather pants) maybe my calves are too big!!!!

I got a pair of black rats yesterday and am already in love with them, fell in love after seeing them in the Aussie street style thread on here.

Cricket (Liverpool shop) have some wonderful Chloe leather leggings in at the moment. Well, I am 99% certain they were Chloe (but my friend disagrees and says they were from D&G). They were not cheap at £900 or so but probably the best leather I have ever felt!!

I received my helmut lang leather leggings last week, if anyone is considering getting them and wants a review.

I'm really pleased with them, as kokopuff stated earlier in the thread they run pretty long, don't be afraid to size down as well because they are VERY forgiving. The leather is thin and very nice, easy to get on and off because they are lined with some sort of fabric, all of the seams are even and the waistband is very giving if you need to pull them up or down. My only complaint is that the thighs and butt seem to be large on them, but different people need different fits and they could work great on someone with a suitable body shape!

Did you keep your Topshop pair then? I was wondering if it's very expensive to have leather pants altered. Mine are too long as well.

Verena: Yes, I kept them, the seller wasn't very nice at all. I found a flaw on them, but she didn't want to do anything at all. So I dropped it. I am paying 300 DKR to get them altered in both length and width. That's approximately 40 euros

I think they look pretty sick as leggings, but they have to be really high quality, almost really tight pants, even. I've seen the one's at American Apparel and thought about it but they just look cheap. And on the nose '80's.

I like the trend. I bought a pair from american apparel a few weeks ago and was exited to wear them but the disgust on my boyfriends face made me take them back. Thinking about getting a pair again tho. who cares what he thinks!!!!

I've been looking around and I think i NEED (yes need!) the s&B balck rats. They are amazing looking (on the model). I had reservations about them at first because I though the shiny (but not leather) material would look weird or cheap. But not all my reservations are gone after looking at everyone else in them. Just wondering how small the xs is if anyone has them already? Im a small 8 (got hips and a bum but the rest is skinny) so would I be best to get the s/m?
