We’re thrilled to announce our partnership with Moda Operandi — as of today, our Resort 2013 collection is available for pre-order. In the spirit of resort (and summer), Lauren Santo Domingo, Moda Operandi’s Creative Director and co-founder, shares her upcoming vacation musts. My favorite vacation spot is… Cartagena, Colombia.
I spend the day… sleeping late, reading and relaxing with no Blackberry.
And at night I will… have dinner at La Vitrola and drinks at a great club called Havana. We’ll order a Colombian speciality called deditos — deep fried cheese sticks.
I always pack… books and SPF.
Resort 2013 is all about… embellishment, mixed texture and color-blocking!

i love that this is like a 'relaxed, summer look' and no shoes - when she is basically wearing a cocktail dress  Never change LSD, never change

Michael Bloomberg Poses With a Model

Mayor Michael Bloomberg poses with a leggy model and a car while being photographed by Annie Leibovitz for Vanity Fair. The New York Mayor wears a blue suit and a green tie for the highly-anticipated shoot.

so, according to vogue, she is expecting her second baby
“I have never felt compelled to rub another person’s belly, pregnant or otherwise, so I just cannot understand the eagerness those have to rub mine,” says Moda Operandi cofounder Lauren Santo Domingo, who is expecting her second child this fall.

can't wait to see her pregnancy style

Good god, I agree. Touching total strangers is just so bizarre, and I have never understood people rubbing other people's bellies... And I couldn't imagine a better lady to pose with Mayor Bloomberg in that shoot. In my mind, she's like Mrs. New York, and obviously has a model's frame to boot.

The Socials

These ladies—left to right, Vanessa Traina, Jenna Courtin-Clarins, Prisca Courtin-Clarins, Virginie Courtin-Clarins, Claire Courtin-Clarins, Lauren Santo Domingo, Shala Monroque, Alexia Niedzielski, Lily Kwong, and Elizabeth von Guttman —may look good sitting next to the runway, but they’re not just sitting pretty. Enter the new breed of social slasher: Editors, entrepreneurs, artists, eco-warriors, models, advocates for social change, these women do it all and do it with style, inspiring the designers with their original approach to fashion, from the immaculate to the irreverent.

Her Paris apartment is featured in the new Vogue, designed by Francois Catroux! It's so sick. But the article...oh my god, her life is on a whole other level. It must be sweet.

^can't wait to see that article and pics! is it in US Vogue, or Vogue Paris?:flower:

^great, thanks!:flower: I should get mine this week:wink:

You'll love it, it's seriously one of the best home pieces I've read...even in Arc Digest. Plus, the artwork she has: Man Ray, Motherwell, it's incredible.
