It's all been said, he was an amazing and extremely innovative man.. the world will miss him.. Rest In Peace.

But Le Monde did 4 pages for him and front page... FABULOUS!
same for Direct Soir (a free-boring newspaper)....

Honestly, I was crying everytime I heard his name today... and I'm still "crying" there reading all your words...

Last night, around 12:50 pm I was in the subway on my way home and I started thinking about Yves Saint Laurent and his achievements as a designer, specially the mondrian dresses and today I saw the news and found out about the news.

I hope he rests in peace, he and his incredible legacy will always be remembered.

Like it's been said,he's one of the greatest designer of all time with Christian Dior and Coco Chanel.Loulou de La Falaise must feel heartbroken right now.

who LOVED YSL and who passed away himself from cancer in the last couple of years...

At least he is out of pain and what not now and in a better place... his body is gone but his soul and sprit live in gorgeous clothes, photographs and some truely magnificent designs.

As someone once said the goal isnt to live for ever, but to create something that will .. i think we all agree he suceeded in doing this right
