FYI you don't have to do runways to be a famous model or considered successful alot of well known models don't do runway shows , Heidi Klum is a super model who doesn't do any runways except for Victoria Secret .. my point is there are many ways to establish yourself as a model

At the age of 18, she appeared on the cover of the August 2003 Spanish Vogue. She also appeared in editorials for Glamour, Cosmopolitan, Teen Vogue and Elle Girl.

can some of these be reposted then? just because they aren't featured in the past 50 pages of this thread. i guess a Bobbi Brown ad was. and some JCrew catalogue work, but i've not seen any of her campaigns for Rocawear, JCrew, Coach, VS, etc.

For a RUNWAY SHOW, yes, there is. In terms of the catalog, well, that's debatable since they're so heavy-handed with the Photoshop. They could make Lily look like she has a butt and DD's if they wanted...for a live show, not so much!

Happycanadian , I'm super defensive about Lily's work. She is deffinitely a model who works quite a bit but she isn't slaving away for Dazed and confused magazines that pay like nothing

She works for commercial brands mainly and whilst she doesnt do editorial/shows , you have to realise Lily probably models for MONEY and not prestige , the jobs she does make her quite well paid , those fresh look colour contacts campaigns , catalogues for nordstrom/jcrew/bergdorf/victorias secret , as well as Smashbox cosmetics , Bobbi Brown cosmetics , Herbal Essences ,GAP , The row by Mary kate and Ashley , velvet-tees catalogues etc .Shes been in Vogue US , Italia and Spain as well as Italian Elle ,Glamour , Amica etc . In fact shes also starred in Levi's commercials as well as Madwell videos/catalogues , Vanderbilt Jeans , Rocawear , ArdenB, Saks etc.. theres deffinitely more but those are the ones off the top of my mind ..

Oh also Coach and H&M

thanks, WerbowyStegner! from the looks of those labels, it makes perfect sense what you were saying. i'm sure that Samsung phones pays A LOT of money. perhaps it's not as prestigious as something like Yves St Laurent or Prada or whatever, but i know it pays well. and modelling is a job, just like any other. the more money you make - the more successful you are.

^ very well said WerbowyStegner. Lily has longevity and earns money - she's certainly the type of model an agency would hate to lose (unlike some higher profile runway types). ..and its fairly commonplace that a 'prestigious' job pays well below a similar, more commercial job.
