a lot of people are being so negative about lily in the comment section of that youtube video. she is beautiful and doesn't need to be compared to anyone. leave my lily alone!
brownsugarplum - I know!! I just wrote a response... not only am I shocked about what they are saying about her, but shocked at how many "likes" are on their comments bashing her! They all talk about how great Adriana is, which she's pretty, but she has no depth, and frankly she doesn't sound intelligent when she talks. Lily is so much better!
Lily simply DOES NOT belong in these Victoria's Secret campaigns. Sure, she's hot, but I think there's more to her than fake tan and boobs. This whole thing is ridiculous and degrading. I can't see how she'd be doing it for the money, because her family already has a lot of it and so does Caleb. I personally don't think I'd fall into a VS campaign if I already had money and status. I just don't think it's her...but then again I don't know her personally. I can, however, tell that she's not as stupid and air-heady as Adriana.

I think she's just as bad as the others in the videos...talking absolute rubbish and blowing kisses every 5 seconds. It's so hard to watch.

I know, it's a shame. Becoming an Angel should mean more candids though.

I feel bad that everyone bashes her on youtube. I think she is just as beautiful as the other models, if not more!

It's because she isn't cookie cutter pretty. Some people don't seem to appreciate beauty that variates from the "norm."

To be honest, I can quite understand why lily would want to be part of victoria secret. the way victoria secret has been branded, it is now synonymous with the world's most beautiful models. gisele, tyra, naomi, heidi and even jessica stam have all modeled for victoria secret. i suppose any career model including lily of course wants to be a part of that. I bet caleb who has always liked the idea of dating a model is thrilled that he is engaged to a victoria secret model. its all about the brand. its sad but its true!
honestly I don't get why people keep saying she's too good for VS.
I mean, are you kidding me?? this the biggest gig in her career . She was a nobody before VS -and Caleb- so of course she took the job when they offered !this is her big chance to become a famous model,so I believe she ìs quite happy at the moment and not so snobbish about it like you all are.

I would not call it snobbish, not accepting a job as degrading for women like VS clearly is, when she does not need it.
Of course VS is the biggest job of her career, and she would not get if she wasn't dating Caleb, but she's totally out of place there, and she's too good for it because she seems to have one more brain cell than all those "bombshells" put together. Although I might be wrong and she's just as bad as the others.

I'm just wondering, why does everyone think she's smarter than the other VS girls? I've never seen an interview of her that wasn't at a VS event, so I really can't judge. All I've seen are these IMG clips where she doesn't really seem like the brightest girl either 
Is it because she's with Caleb that people think she can't be an airhead? Don't get me wrong, I love Lily and I think she's super sweet, I'd just like to know based upon what people think that.
About the whole VS thing in general: Of course I wish she'd be a regular for something that is more cool, but let's face it, she's not the kind of model that we'd ever see in Italian Vogue. She's always done more commercial work and it makes sense to me that she wouldn't decline the biggest of all commercial jobs. I don't think she's perfect for the brand either and I could see why so many people think she doesn't fit in with the other girls (she's got a boyish figure, she doesn't have perfect teeth and nothing about her is obtrusively gorgeous) but I wouldn't say she's too good or on the contrary not good enough for VS. It's by far the biggest job she could snag and she seems happy to be doing it and that's all that matters.

Well I think it's a bit of that. Would Caleb want to marry a total airhead just because she's pretty. When he can basically have his pick of beautiful girls? Why choose a totally dumb one? Maybe he would...
I think there is no excuse for VS unless you have no choice and you need to pay your bills. If girls as privileged as Lily choose to blow air kisses and act totally dumb for VS, there is no hope for womankind.

I never thought Caleb would want to be with a girl that's dumb either, but I think Lily has actually yet to prove she's somewhat brainy and not just a rich hipster kid with a pretty face and a sweet personality
And I agree that VS is horribly embarassing to watch because of how they make the girls act and dress, but like I said, I can totally undestand a model wanting to do it. And I know Lily doesn't need the money, but maybe she actually didn't want to be just the daughter of a rich family and the fiancée of a rich musician. I actually respect her for that, even if she earns her money by playing dumb and wearing tacky underwear.
