To be honest, I find her rather unimpressive as a model. I'm sure she's a nice girl, but she's like a younger, not sexy version of Izabel Goulart/Ale Ambrosio. She doesn't have good catwalk skills either, and I feel like she doesn't have a place among the VS angels. She just seems so...random.

Lily has come a long way and i am so happy for her. She was featured on the daily mail website and the coments have been for the most part positive. Now a wedding of her dreams would be the icing on the cake.

What makes a "real" model is always a contentious issue, I don't know Lily's history that well, but I think that she got commercial work for fashion brands, some high end fairly early in her career; and while everyone goes gaga over high fashion modeling, if an agent gets word that a top photographer is looking for fresh faces, and he has a model who is in demand by well paying commercial and catalog clients, and he is trying to get her in front of even bigger commercial clients like Levi's and VS, he probably is not going to offer up her name in just so that she can get paid $200 and have the honor of getting a Vogue tear sheet or issue a showcard for runway bookings.

When it comes to someone's worthiness to be a VS supermodel or angel, I even take fashion followers comments with a grain of salt. Some people put a lot of emphasis on the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, and also give the models who have done a lot of high fashion work more cred than the models from commercial and catalog backgrounds, which is so weird because VS is the ultimate commercial gig. Also liking the model's high fashion work seems to be a factor as well. As far as Lily is concerned, I think that her strengths are as a spokesmodel and in print, I think she does have range - from cute to sultry to sophisticated / urbane to exotic. Heck I even think that she is cute at the VSFS, more for backstage commentary and the interview segments, yeah she does goofy stuff on the runway, and there is usually one move that causes me to roll my eyes, but she has one of the best personalities. I am not saying that she is going to be there for ever, but I understand why she is one of their contract models.

Lily's personality and look is so refreshing. She seems very sweet and sexy too but it is in an innocent way (I mean this as a positive thing), whereas the other VS girls just seem like glamor sex bombs.
