Linda Evangelista

I want to see her in MORE covers. And when was the last time she walked at fashion week?

If I recall correctly, her last runway appearance was at Dior's 60th anniversary show in 2007.

Now that she's back, I hope it's an indication that she'll be getting a Vogue Italia cover some time soon. And if she and Meisel will indeed work on a cover, then the time to do it is NOW. She looks great after having slimmed down.

Speaking of Meisel, here's one of his most iconic images, featuring his two most extraordinary muses. On the cover of the book In Vogue.

A Good Hair Day
Vidal Sassoon Screening at MoMA

by Katherine Bernard

Last night, the Museum of Modern Art played host for a screening of Vidal Sassoon The Movie. The film explores the life of the legendary hairstylist, most famous for creating Mia Farrow’s pixie cut for Rosemary’s Baby, a look which in turn spawned copycat after copycat even decades after the fact (see Emma Watson and Michelle Williams). “There were moments of pure joy,” said the British-born, Israeli Sassoon, who, when asked to reflect on his life and career, recalled his work with Peggy Moffitt, Rudi Gernreich, and Richard Avedon. He went on to proclaim Linda Evangelista his modern-day style icon. “She has the best hair because she changes it all the time. It’s wonderful hair and beautifully done. I don’t know who cuts it, but I love the fact that she changes it all the time. And why not? When you’ve got great bones, use them. Change!”
