i hope, i am posting this in the right section, i wasn't sure where else to post ^^'''
okay my problem is, i am 17 and i am looking total young. i have a roundish face and at the moment shoulder length hair. how can i make myself looking like 17? and my other "problem" is no wether what i am wearing i always feel, every other girl is styled more. maybe this is just a lake of self esteem, but i don't have so much time in the morning so for school i am just wearing jeans, a shirt and a pullover or a waistcoat because and in winter i have to choose warm things because sometimes it is really cold in our classroom and i guess i am a person which always feels cold (any tips against that too?)
so how can i feel more "styled" or get more style....

sorry for asking so much questions but until now people here were always able to help me so i hope to get answers to that questions too :flower: ^_^

You should be thankful that you don't look "older". You probably mean you want more of a mature look, but still youthful and stylish. I am sure you can find a balance for cool outfits. If it is cold, I would say layering is a cool idea. If your going to wear a hoodie, maybe you could put a lightweight fitted cropped blazer over it and a cool long necklace with one charm. Jeans are jeans, but maybe try a different style, like slim or crop with flats.Small changes can make very refreshing looks.
You should check out stylediary.net
I think it is a cool site about some girls that go shopping and try clothes on, then take pictures! lol
Also, delias.com, has cute clothes for teens, and sometimes more mature, if anything, it could be good styling advice.

thank you i'll definitly visit this websites and i don't want to look older i might have said that wrong i'm sorry i am from austria so my english sucks i guess *lol* i just don't want to look so childish.....
damn thing is at the moment i have no money for new clothes *sigh*

I feel the same way ... getting dressed at home I look in the mirror and I feel good and then I go out and see younger girls who are styled better than me and I think "I put so much effort into this", and just end up feeling bad about myself. Having a boyfriend helps though because he's cute and makes for a nice accessory...hehe. Another thing, why do girls STARE at each other??? I get bored with the way I dress and put thign stogether thats why I log on to TFS for ideas.

I don't think you have to spend a ton of money. You might have what you need already right in your closet. It is also a good way to get creative. When I was younger, I really did not have any money and would go to the thrift shops and alter the clothes with a sewing needle and thread. I just took my time with it, to make sure the seams didn't come apart. Often, the clothes, if you look carefully, don't need to be altered, you just need to accessorize them to make it look cool.
Some things can look dated alone, but if you use some accessories to jazz it up a bit, then it really brings on a whole new life.
Just take some clippings off the web or magazines for inspiration.
:-)
