^hehe i have the dvd and my cousin was just visiting and she hadnt watched "lost" before. by the end of the 4 days that she was over, she had watched more than half of the episodes! lol

i totally loved this episode
the monster was ever so slightly on the verge of cheesy
but i like the fact that folks face their fear and stories.

i flipping LOVE Adewale's acting (Mr. Eko)
i was crying so much.

awesome awesome episode - based on his story and acting.



i just did a search, he's got a Masters from King's College
and has done quite a bit of acting.

i don't think i've ever really seen a popular show that had a Nigerian in it..
or a so-called Iraqi or a Korean all together.. and everyone gets their story told. Good stuff!

I saw "The Mummy Returns" on TV a few weeks ago and found "Mr. Eko" was in it. He was also in "The Bourne Identity."

if you taped the show and rewind during the black smoke segment you see faces of people in Mr. Eko's past appear in the midst of the black smoke (his brother, images of Jesus' crucifixion, etc.)

Good episode, I haven't seen Lost in a while. Mr. Eko is my favorite character, I also loved him as Adebisi back in the OZ days.

and for me, it's not based on his looks (for looks, i dig Sawyer)
it's his story and acting.
